Universal MMA’s Ash Mashreghi Signs with Battlefield
Universal MMA’s Ash “Smash” Mashreghi has joined the stacked welterweight division of Battlefield Fight league.

Mashreghi who has been inactive from any form of combat competition for over 2 years, has been furthering his submission game under Rickson Gracie black belt Shane Rice.  “I’ve been taking alot of time off working on different aspects of my game.  I feel pretty good and confident and I’m ready to finally make my mma debut in August.”  Mashreghi joins perhaps battlefield’s  deepest division with talented prospects like  Dwyer, Brooks, Zubor, Austin and Caffiero all in contention for the welterweight belt.
Mashreghi will make his much anticipated MMA debut on August 21st at the river rock show theatre.  The winner of this bout will most likely face Bryce Gougeon of Carlson Gracie team on Battlefield 3 on October 15th.
