The Main Event will be in the Welterweight division as champion Adam Posener defends his title against seasoned veteran Montana, USA’s Gage Saunders in a highly anticipated title bout. Posener holds an undefeated record of 5-0 with 4 of those wins ending by submission. Primetime has shown dominance with his grappling prowess throughout his career, being undefeated in his amateur and pro career. However, in his first title defence he will face a tough test in Saunders. Saunders comes into this fight with an abundance of experience and a gritty fighting style. The American has accumulated 14 wins throughout his professional career and knows what it takes to compete at the highest level. Currently on a 6 fight win streak, the ‘Gangley Gangster’ will be looking to prove a point and become the new champion in the Welterweight division.
Radley Da Silva vs. Gustavo Erak
In the Co-main Event, the Featherweight title is on the line as champion, Radley Da Silva defends his title against Brazilian veteran Gustavo Erak. Da Silva is coming off of a win on Dana White’s Contender Series, and now returns to the BFL cage as he looks to defend his belt on October 16th. The Capoeirista poses a threat in all aspects of mixed martial arts, whether it’s striking or in the grappling department, Radley is comfortable anywhere the fight may take place. Erak brings over 30 professional fights worth of experience to the cage. Known for his KO power and constant pressure, Erak is a dangerous threat for Da Silva and will be ready to go to war come October 16th.
Jeremy Kennedy vs. Nicolas Ouellet
Jeremy Kennedy, fresh off his win on September 4th at BFL84 will defend his Interim Lightweight title against Jiu Jitsu ace Nicolas Ouellet. Kennedy carries a wealth of experience, having competed in the UFC, Bellator and the PFL, racking up 20 professional wins in his career. JBC holds a heavy grappling approach and likes to wear his opponents down by always keeping them guessing when he will shoot for a takedown. As for Ouellet, he is very confident in his striking and has no problem trading shots with his opponents and getting into big exchanges. Mostly known for his grappling, Ouellet has also been known to mix up his grappling with his striking very well and can be very dangerous once the fight hits the mat.
Dejan Kajic vs. Zack Powell
This Super Welterweight title bout has fight of the night potential as Dejan Kajic will square off against Zack Powell. Kajic is a crafty veteran with over 17 wins in his professional career. He is a meticulous striker who has never been one to shy away from a war, as we have seen time after time. Powell is an up and coming prospect with a 10-3 record. With both of these fighters having the tendency to stand and bang with their opponents, this fight is guaranteed to be a classic and an absolute must watch.
