Two Top Prospects to Battle on the Co-mainevent at “MMA at the Station”

A lightweight fight has been finalized as the Co-mainevent for “MMA at the Station” taking place on Saturday, May 15th at the Rocky mountaineer Station in Vancouver, B.C.

North Vancouver’s Tak Sasaki (4-2), who fights out of Wolfs Den, takes on Greg Ufimtseff (1-1) out of Lethbridge, Alberta, in what should be a clash of lightweights looking for the quick Victory.

Sasaki will be looking to build on his status as one of west coast’s top lightweights coming off a knockout of his last opponent just 55 seconds into the first round. Sasaki had dominated the stand-up portion of the fight, causing a massive amount of damage.

Ufimtseff is under the tutelage of Lee Mein in Lethbridge Alberta and is looking to return to the form he showed in his previous Rumble In the Cage outing. Back in September 2009, Ufimtseff stepped up to face Keegan Cassell and a used a solid ground game to pull off the submission at the 2:23 mark of the first round.

This will be a very important fight in the lightweight division, as the winner will most likely face Jonathan “The Aggressor” Agnew from Suitela Fight Club at Battlefield’s August event at the River Rock Casino.
